The following guidelines are set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Income Guidelines and Fair Market Rent for 2009, based on the effective median family income for Tazewell County of $66,700.

Other Applicant Criteria
- Background Verification
All applicant information will be verified. This includes criminal background checks (state police and FBI reports), credit histories and information from previous landlords.
- Income Verification
All sources of income must be reported, including that from public aid.
- Required Documents
All applicants are required to present an original Social Security card and birth certificate for all household members during the application process. Adults must also present a photo ID.
Applications are accepted Monday - Friday between 8am - 5pm, except for holidays. Reasonable accommodations will be considered for those needing assistance during the application process.
